Dorgard Pro

Dorgard Pro is a fire door retainer which holds open fire doors legally at any angle, automatically closing them when an alarm is activated.

Dorgard Pro is suitable for all buildings and offers ease of access, peace of mind, and protection in the event of a fire.

How Dorgard Pro works

• Responds when alarm is activated
• Can be activated by the sound of your alarm or wired directly into a fire panel
• Can be radio-activated using a Fireco Transmitter
• As soon as alarm is activated, the plunger is released and the door will close.

Wedging open fire doors is dangerous. Dorgard provides a wireless solution for legally holding open fire doors in any position, automatically closing the door when the fire alarm sounds to  prevent the spread of fire and smoke.

Dorgard is powered by batteries and Installed onto the bottom of the fire door in under 5 minutes.

How it works

• Press down the plunger to hold the fire door open at any angle.
• Dorgard continually listens out for the sound of the fire alarm.
• Once the alarm sounds, Dorgard will release the plunger and the door will close.

Freedor is an overhead door closer which makes opening and closing a fire door effortless. A wireless device, it allows you to place your door open in any position and closes on the sound of the alarm. As it is a free swing closer, the door is easy to push open without the usual resistance presented by a door closer.

• Easily fitted to the top of any door and powered by batteries
